Explore New England like a local — Personalized, authentic Travel Planning and Private Tours
I am a fourth-generation Bostonian helping visitors to Boston, to Massachusetts, and to all six New England states enjoy personalized and memorable leisure travel based on their particular passions, budgets, and needs.
In live, one-to-one, travel planning sessions with me, or in private tours which I lead, customers get meaningful, local insights from my living and traveling here over 50+ years.
If you don’t yet know where you should go, what to see and do, and how to organize each day for the biggest thrill, then you have come to the right place!
But even if you have ideas, destinations, or even plans, I can help you complete your plan and elevate your stay in New England!
When my customers’ visits end, they love and appreciate this area as much as I do.

I began scouting Massachusetts’ coast as a teenager the day my parents first gave me the keys to their car! Also in my teens, I hiked, canoed, and camped our four northernmost states. More recently I have toured 20,000 miles of New England by motorcycle, thousands more by automobile, and watched ospreys dive for fish in a river next to an excellent beer garden up north.
Visitors benefit economically, and in overall vacation satisfaction, from my guidance—from my Travel Planning Sessions particularly—so they:
- Know their options in terms of places to eat, available tours (which may not even be my own tours!), and in terms of lesser known, lesser touristed destinations suited to their passions and budgets;
- Make economical, practical decisions on where to stay, and even when to come and for how long;
- Avoid spending money on vacations only to realize they missed seeing, doing, eating, or experiencing something wonderful and nearby;
- Experience magnificent sites, history, cultures, and tastes in greater Boston, in Massachusetts and across New England’s six states, not just algorithm-driven, top-attraction checklists which everyone on social media follows;
- Think in detail about what they want to enjoy here, appreciate their own vacation time and budget investments, and both practically and leisurely do just what they want in the time available.
